Gator Country Adventure Park

Largest Alligator Adventure Park/Sanctuary in Southeast Texas

We house over 450 American Alligators, crocodiles, many different reptiles, as well as various mammals we have received through nuisance rescues, donations, other institutions or abandonment. For many years, we have worked with our local and state authorities and the general public to be the one and the only sanctuary for nuisance alligators to reside in Texas. We also work with schools and universities by providing educational and internship programs.
Here at Gator Country, 90% of the animals we house have either been surrendered, rescued or given up we provide a comfortable home and adequate care for the animals for the rest of their lives.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to wade with the gators, interact with snakes, lizards, tortoises, caimans, and many other reptiles and mammals. You can also view our educational and feeding shows taught by our interns who come to us from all over the U.S. and few from out of the country.
